We do not use proprietary platforms such as Discord for our communications. No real Linux community, surely no FOSS community, would use platforms such as Discord for their communication needs!

Jealous Hating Trolls matrix.jaxlug.ngo homeserver account abuse

Due to an influx of anonymous and bogus accounts, most likely created by Christian McLaughlin, and his cohorts such as Rajesh Verma (to be documented), and others, we have had to make this an invite only server. This criminal harassing behavior is being recorded as evidence for criminal prosecution.

To further prevent abuse of the process, to join matrix.jaxlug.ngo, it is required to,

  1. Subscribe to, and join our mailing list;
  2. Make a public post, send an email using your legal first and last name, associated with your email address;
  3. In which case, a representative of the Jacksonville Linux User Group Inc. will email you an invite link.

It is unfortunate that these steps have become necessary, among the other things taking place in Jacksonville, Florida, various criminal activity and rampant intellectual property and corporate identity rights civil and criminal violations; as we are actively pursuing Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies to take action.

Once Christian McLaughlin and cohorts are brought to justice in the criminal law enforcement system, the server will revert back to public access.
