A web page was created on Christian McLaughlin's harmful activities in the Jacksonville, Florida Metropolitan area, a region he is not from; not a native. Rather than Christian reflect on his elective, self-serving actions, and consider ceasing or taking a different more cooperative rather than combative approach. Christian McLaughlin decides to further show his true character in filing a Libel lawsuit against a 501c3 Charitable Non-Profit, instead of filing a Libel suit against the author, the sole acting officer, William L. Thomson Jr., who Christian himself even states is the source per his statement,
“William L. Thomson Jr (“Thomson“) is the incorporator and primary officer of the Corporation and is referenced only as the person through whom the Corporation acted and is not a defendant.”.
Therefore, Christian McLaughlin should be suing William L. Thomson Jr., but once again, despite all claims otherwise, Christian is once again copying William, not only in filling pro se lawsuits, but in the following statement,
“In these communications, the Corporation's officer stated the Corporation's strategy of pursuing the venues and professional relationships through which Plaintiff operates, asserting that it is “much more beneficial to sue businesses than individuals,” and that by depriving such venues, “then no need to pursue individuals.””.
William L. Thomson Jr. as a lawful officer of the Jacksonville Linux Users Group Inc is doing routine Intellectual Property and Trademark protection, along with defending against Corporate Identity Theft; a crime Christian McLaughlin is guilty of committing! Christian McLaughlin continues pursuing harmful actions in a community he is not from, which was the entire motivation for the web page Christian is so bothered by and filed a lawsuit over, without an Attorney; copying William both in pro se and suing a business.
However, unlike William, who all but in a few cases, sought symbolic amounts of $1, and in a couple cases $500, and in one case $2500 to fund recovery of jaxlug.org, all in Small Claims. No Lawsuit is intended to hurt or harm the Defendant, only to get them to cease and desist activity harmful to the Jacksonville Linux Users Group Inc. Therefore, the lawsuits are defensive in nature, and only meant to achieve resolution and not to seek excessive monetary relief.
But, what amount does Christian seek? $50,000, from a Charitable 501c3 Non-Profit.
We seek donations to further the area through free Linux education and charitable efforts, and Christian wants to harm and rob a Charity! If Christian was suing William for such that would be one thing, but to sue a Charity for $50,000. Again, this speaks volumes to Christian's character; or lack thereof. This is not at all the same or equivalent to William's actions as a lawful officer defending a corporation. Christian seeks to be able to defame and cause harm to others, steal their Corporate Identity, all without accountability, and Christian has no respect for Free Speech; among many things Christian does not respect! Opinions on a private, even corporate, website are fully within Free Speech and do not fall under Florida Libel Laws!
The TRUTH hurts and that is why Christian is so upset and filing a Libel lawsuit.
Christian McLaughlin would be wise to immediately dismiss his lawsuit, before he gets himself into further trouble with the court, as a pro se litigant, not in Small Claims where Attorneys are not expected, he has no idea what he is doing, based on his filing, in a higher court where Attorneys are expected. The page has already been moved, which eliminates the vast majority of his claim and the Defendant.
The Jacksonville Linux Users Group Inc. is fully indemnified from the actions of William L. Thomson Jr.
As Christian will find out in court, when a officer acts on their own, they are directly responsible and not the corporation which they represent, and Christian will have to prove otherwise. That other board members, some who joined as Christian was informing of suit, were unaware and not participant, as they are actions that William L. Thomson Jr. has taken directly, as Christian states repeatedly.
Therefore, William bears the sole legal responsibility, as Christian will find out from a Judge, who may place sanctions against Christian, therefore again, Christian would be wise to dismiss. But, there is a reason the page was created, so Christian likely will not dismiss... His biscuit to risk it!

Christian McLaughlin should cease and desist all activities, transfer any and all accounts under his control to the Jacksonville Linux Users Group Inc immediately, to end this mess, and to start seeking religion in hope that he is not arrested on either State or Federal criminal offenses, if not multiple counts of each! Christian has overstayed his welcome, and has caused plenty enough trouble for an area he is not from, Jacksonville, and Florida, has had quite enough of Christian McLaughlin's self-serving agenda, so he profit off others!
